This project was to look at the idea of a "book". What is a book and constitutes a publication in order for it to be called a book. There are many ways to make a book other than to have bound pages filled with text. A book by definition is information written on papers that are bound by a cover. But, it also means to reserve or to document. And that is not necessarily done using words and conventional materials.

My topic is Irresponsible Waste Disposal which is an epidemic we are witnessing its outcomes. Using documentation as my design lens, I used materials that I found laying around in the streets to connote the idea of how we are disposing waste irresponsibly. I used an old, second hand book for this project since this book documents items that have been discarded and are what contribute to the issue. The title of this book I found to be interesting since I connotes what I was trying to say; irresponsible waste disposal is a serious business! The pages are then filled with collages of waste and packaging of things that we all own in abundance to highlight the idea of how much we are contributing to a bigger problem.
